Interconnect Superstops, Lincolnshire

Construction costs £300,000.00

Donnelly & O Neill entered a limited competition to design a series of “Superstops” across Lincolnshire with Sheils Flynn Landscape Architects. The practice was successful and developed the proposals into a working model for a series of stops to be located in towns and villages on the main bus routes.

The designs incorporate the latest technology satellite up-link between the stop and buses giving precise timetable information with touch screen displays. The stops also incorporate minute cctv cameras to provide a degree of deterrent against vandalism.

The first 2 stops have been completed. A further 2 stops are in production and due to be completed in March 2003.
