St Patricks College, Technology & Design
The brief followed was to build a new Technology & Design extension to accommodate a
Foyer/Display Area, Planning Rooms, Manufacturing Rooms and Materials
Stores and the refurbishment of the adjacent classroom block into
manufacturing and science facilities.
Sitting adjacent to the
existing east wing of the school, the new space displays an innovative and extensive
use of roof glazing. The result is a windowless building flooded with light
which also streams into the existing adjacent rooms filling them too with light and colour.
