A single storey split level new build comprising of
8 classrooms planned around a glazed "atria" which provides a bright
and welcoming resource area. This area also links to the multipurpose hall, stores and school meals accomodation.
With skillful detailing, passive solar design was
incorporated to utilize solar heat whilst allowing natural cooling in
summer. Acoustic requirements were addressed by timber panelled
ceilings.
