All Saints Parish Centre Ballymena

Following a competition, Donnelly O Neill Conservation were commissioned to build a
new parish centre, adjacent to the existing listed church, to accomodate a range of
facilities.
The scale of the building is reduced by breaking
it down into block, each in proportion to its' surrounding landscape
and buildings. A spacious roof glazed core area links the blocks ans
the various activities.
Materials remain sympathetic and
respectful to the locale. Stone matching that of the church is used on
a number of external walls, and the view from the first floor towards
the church is across a green roof planted with alpines.
